Please join us Wed April 19th 1pm at Stony Brook University
Room 464A Level 2 HSC

Julie Maury and Pam Block will be discussing the original Nick's Crusade -- a movement started by Nick Dupree to ensure that young Vent-users in Alabama could live in homes in the community rather than nursing homes or hospitals. We will show Nick Dupree's Art and read from his chapter in Occupying Disability.

Finally we will discuss the new Nick's Crusade -- our quest in collaboration with St. Mary's Children's Hospital to keep young vent-users (and those with other complex conditions) in NYS out of nursing homes and hospitals as they age out of pediatric settings.
