DeSoto Parish Rotary Club

A big thank you to our guest speakers from Back Alley Community Theatre for joining us at the DeSoto Parish Rotary Club this month!

We always enjoy hearing from organizations that are making a difference in our community and learning more about the resources and services available right here in our area.

One of the best parts of Rotary is bringing people together, learning from one another, and finding new ways we can serve and strengthen our community.

Thank you again for taking the time to come speak with us and share your mission!

Today at the DeSoto Parish Rotary Club, we had the privilege of hearing about the incredible work being done through the DOVE Program and the impact it has on students with special needs.

We heard from Mr. Charlie Pate, a DOVE teacher, representatives from local business partners like Anytime Fitness Stonewall, and Lacy Parker, a proud DOVE graduate, along with her mom. Their stories were a powerful reminder of how meaningful job opportunities and community support can change lives.

The DOVE Program helps prepare students for independence by providing valuable job training and real-world work experience. This is only possible because local businesses are willing to open their doors and invest in these amazing young adults.

If you or your business would like to:
• Make a donation to support the DOVE Program
• Provide a job or internship opportunity for one of these students
• Learn more about how you can get involved

Please reach out to the DeSoto Parish Rotary Club. We’d be happy to connect you with the program and help you make a difference.

Together, we can create more opportunities, build confidence, and help these students reach their full potential. ❤️
