Join us for a Mass, Procession, and Dinner Dance! The mass will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by an outdoor procession. Cocktails, dinner, and dancing will follow to continue this special day of faith and community.

Yesterday, we were blessed to be part of the beautiful procession for Maria SS. Lauretana of Altavilla Milicia in Chicago, celebrating our shared Italian faith and cultural heritage. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of coming together as a community to uphold our traditions and pass them down to our children and future generations.

A special thank you to Frank DiPiero, a dedicated member of the CI-AMA society, for proudly carrying our banner during the procession. Our unity and commitment to our faith and traditions keep our community strong and vibrant. Let's continue to celebrate and preserve what makes us uniquely Italian!

Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (Festa dell’Immacolata), a Catholic holy day and a national public holiday. The day also marks the official start to the Christmas season and Italians put up their presepe (nativity scene) and Christmas decorations in their homes, and cities are lit up with festive lights. In some towns, especially in the south, "L'Immacolata" is celebrated with religious processions.
