🐾 The Five Who Grew Up Waiting

They came to us as babies.

Some were born here.

Some were rescued at just six weeks old.

We fed them.
We protected them.
We watched them grow.

And somewhere along the way… our puppies became dogs.

And they’re still waiting.

Peach(adopted💖). Bowie. Stella. Bruce. Katniss.

Five completely different personalities.

One thing in common: they’re all looking for home.

This is why we keep showing up. ❤️

Behind every stray dog is a life that didn’t ask to be abandoned.

We are just two people, but every day we see the hunger, the fear, the puppies, the desperate posts—and the growing number of dogs who need somewhere to turn.

We may not be able to save every dog, but we can make sure they aren’t forgotten.

We will keep feeding.
We will keep advocating.
We will keep networking.
And we will keep fighting for a better future for Stockton’s stray and unhoused dogs.

🖤 Katniss — Quiet But Playful

Katniss might be quiet but she has a playful side. ❤️

She’s calm.
She’s reserved.
She’s playful once she gets comfortable.

Katniss isn’t necessarily going to be the first dog throwing herself into the middle of everything.
She’s more of a “let me get to know you first” kind of girl.

And once she does?
You get to see that playful, sweet side of her. ❤️

Katniss was born at our rescue ranch on July 3, 2025, after we rescued her mama, Ears, from the streets.

We watched her grow from this tiny puppy into this beautiful girl.

And now she’s waiting for the next part of her story.

A family. A home. Her people. 🏡

Spayed. Vaccinated. Microchipped.

Ready when you are.

Sometimes the quiet ones are the ones who steal your heart the deepest. ♥️

🖤 Bruce — The Water Dog

Bruce has two settings: Calm and in the water. 😂💦

Bruce is calm.
Bruce is reserved.
Bruce is sweet.

And Bruce LOVES water. 💦

He was born at our rescue ranch on July 3, 2025, after his mama, Ears, was rescued from the streets.

We’ve watched this quiet little puppy grow into the handsome boy he is today.

Bruce isn’t necessarily the dog who has to be the center of attention. He’s the kind of guy who takes his time, gets to know you and then quietly becomes your best friend.

And if there’s water involved? Even better. 😂

Neutered. Vaccinated. Microchipped. Ready for his forever home.

Bruce doesn’t need a spotlight. He just needs someone to choose him. 🖤

⭐ Stella — The Social Butterfly

Stella has never met a stranger. ♥️

Fun.
Outgoing.
Charismatic.

Stella is the girl who walks into a room and somehow makes it about her. 😂♥️

She was just six weeks old when we rescued her, and we’ve had the privilege of watching her grow from this tiny puppy into the beautiful girl she is today.

And somehow… she’s still waiting for her family.

Stella is the kind of dog who wants to be part of the action. She has personality, presence and a whole lot of love to give.

She isn’t just looking for a home.
She’s looking for her people.

The streets of Stockton are a “Ruff” place.

Anyone can feed a pup, and I encourage it. However, that alone isn’t special, and it won’t fix this problem.

Stockton Streetdogs is here to end the suffering of the pups. Period.

We were never here for content. We are here for change.

We don’t answer to anyone. Only our supporters.

That is why we have a very big announcement coming soon. A way for us to change our community, one pup at a time.

All WITHOUT any strings attached to anyone or any organization. This allows us to keep our loyalty where it belongs: to those without names, the abandoned and the abused.

To the StreetDogs.

Very soon, things will change for Stockton and its StreetDogs.

There will be a way for all of you, our beloved followers, to become part of the team. To gather donations, help in a safe setting, and be part of creating real change.

🎸 Bowie — The Comedian

We’re pretty sure Bowie had never had a serious thought in his life. 😂

Bowie is goofy.
Bowie is silly.
Bowie is funny.

Basically, Bowie is the dog you didn’t know you needed until you realize your house is significantly less entertaining without him. 😂

We rescued Bowie when he was only about six weeks old, and this tiny little puppy grew up right here at our rescue ranch.

Look at him now. 🥹 That little puppy became THIS big, goofy boy. He’s over a year old now, and there’s one thing we’d really like to change:

We want Bowie to grow old with a family—not at the rescue.

He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready.

All he needs is someone who appreciates a good dog with a great sense of humor. ❤️
