π Volunteers Needed. Help Us Change Lives in Stockton πΆπ±
The City of Stockton Animal Shelter is excited to partner with SF SPCA and Animal Balance to bring a dedicated spay and neuter clinic to our community February 27 through March 1.
This clinic will strictly serve animals within the City of Stockton and will provide critical assistance to families who need support getting their pets altered. This is a huge step toward reducing pet overpopulation and keeping pets healthy and at home with the people who love them β€οΈ
We are looking for energetic, compassionate volunteers to help make this clinic a success.
β¨ Volunteer roles include β¨
πΎ Morning registration and check in
Welcome clients, assist with paperwork, and help start the day on a positive note.
π Runner and transport support
Help safely move animals throughout the clinic. This role requires dog handling experience and comfort working in a busy environment.
π§Ό Surgical pack preparation
Assist the medical team by assembling and organizing surgical packs. No medical experience required.
π» Data entry
Support accurate record keeping and clinic documentation. Great for detail oriented volunteers.
π©Ί Recovery and anesthesia support
Volunteers with veterinary or medical experience are needed to help monitor pets as they recover from anesthesia under staff supervision.
π Afternoon discharges
Help reunite pets with their families and review post surgery instructions.
