4Ever Hope

4Ever Hope Not long after Father's Day in 2015, our family would hear those dreadful words, "You have cancer." Colon cancer is not partial; it affects both men and women.

4Ever Hope is a non-profit faith-based organization established to assist families who are in this journey and who's lives have in some way been touched by colon cancer. Taken back by the news, we knew what we had to do to Honor thy Father as he confronted the disease. An immediate action plan began to ensure our father's journey would not begin nor end with him alone, but that he would know from

beginning to end, we were there.

4Ever Hope is a non-profit, faith-based organization established to assist families who's lives have been touched by colon cancer. As the 2nd deadliest form of cancer, detected early is it is 90% beatable. When the doctors give you even the smallest hope that treatments can beat cancer, you live in that hope and wage the fiercest fight you can for the life of your loved one. In our case, it would be our father we would be fighting for because he made many sacrifices protecting and guiding us. Unfortunately, our father missed his screenings which could have detected cancer before it reached stage 4. Throughout his journey, we have wondered what could have been done with more time. Frequently we wished we’d caught it with more time. At times, we have pondered how if he had gotten tested sooner that he could still be here. It’s been one of the hardest things to do, letting our father go. Our goal is to compel those within the appropriate age range to get tested and bring awareness to those with a family history. It is our endeavor to support, encourage, and provide resources specifically for caregivers and the patients they care for so that families will know they are not alone.
