Clayton Henry NPHC The purpose of the NPHC of Clayton-Henry is to foster unity and serve the community.

On February 9, 2017, in the city of Stockbridge, Georgia, the originally formed as the South Metro Alumni National Pan-Hellenic Council was formed as a permanent organization with the following charter members: Alpha Phi Alpha, Omega Psi Phi and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternities, and Alpha Kappa Alpha, Zeta Phi Beta and Sigma Gamma Rho Sororities. ​Delta Sigma Theta and Phi Beta Sigma later joined the

council in 2018. The council later changed its name to the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Clayton-Henry March 2019 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) public educational charity. The purpose of the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Clayton-Henry is to foster cooperation among its member organizations, focusing on matters of mutual concern, working together to improve the greater South Metro community development and to use its collective influence to promote the general welfare of men, women, and children in the greater South Metro Atlanta geographic area.​

Celebrating Black History Month: A Divine Nine Legacy

Black History Month is a time to honor the legacy, leadership, and lasting impact of African Americans whose contributions have shaped our communities and our nation. For the National Pan‑Hellenic Council, this month holds special significance as our organizations were founded on the principles of service, scholarship, leadership, and uplift during times when opportunity was limited but purpose was unwavering.

NPHC organizations have long stood at the forefront of social progress—advocating for civil rights, investing in education, strengthening communities, and creating pathways for future generations. Celebrating Black History Month allows us to reflect on that legacy, honor those who paved the way, and recommit ourselves to the mission of collective excellence and community empowerment.

As we celebrate, let us continue to educate, uplift, and serve, ensuring that the values of the Divine Nine remain visible, relevant, and impactful today and for generations to come.
