Can't wait to head to Alton, IL tomorrow for the Mississippi Earthtones Festival! Performing and soaking up the River! Join us if your in the area.

There's lots of things to see, do, and learn at the 20th annual ! Including the art of communicating via nautical flags! Victoria Bradford Styrbicki will be bringing her performance 100 Rivers: Signals of Repair to Zone 3 of the festival at3:45, and the rest of the day she'll be teaching festival-goers how to communicate via flag. Stop by and learn something new at the Mississippi Earthtones Festival on September 19th! .

Presented as part of the Field Trip Festival, 100 Rivers: Signals of Repair will once again take to the field, gathering an array of 100 semaphore flags as we mark this moment in our Great River's history and think about the next 100 years. Come gather, carry, and hold this moment with me.

A House Unbuilt is partnering with MWMO to host this new movement workshop series, asking us to place our bodies in conversation with our changing environment. How do we feel and express the grief, uncertainty, and desire for hope in these times of climate change and social unrest? Let's move through this together.

How do we move through change — in our environment, our communities, and ourselves? 🌊

Join interdisciplinary artist and choreographer Victoria Bradford Styrbicki for a free movement workshop exploring our relationships to water, community, and change.

Through simple movement exercises, flag-based signaling, and creative improvisation, participants will explore the idea that water holds memory — of storms, pollution, healing, migration, and care — and consider the stories our own bodies carry.

Did you know the aquatic plants growing beneath Long Lake's surface are helping restore water quality?

Come meet watershed biologist Jimmy Marty alongside artists Jennifer Awes Freeman, Playdoh Kolo, and Sharon Mansur for making, learning, and exploring.

Still Water, Living Lake is an event happening this Saturday, July 26th, from 10am to 2pm. Join us at city access points to Long Lake in the Croixwood neighborhood of Stillwater. Free and open to all ages!

Wear your walking shoes for a stroll on unpaved trails near the lake and bring a water bottle to fill at our water station.

Preview night for a celebration of Msgr. Harry Greig’s 50th anniversary. Had lots of wonderful opportunities to connect with old family friends and share stories about my artwork, stories about this place.

Come out tonight for the official opening reception, and a special—spectacular—installation of 100 additional flags on the pavement of Pujo Street outside the gallery. At 7 o’clock, I will gather these flags, two by two, each with a unique danced gesture inspired by the signals themselves.

Be a witness.
