A House Unbuilt is partnering with MWMO to host this new movement workshop series, asking us to place our bodies in conversation with our changing environment. How do we feel and express the grief, uncertainty, and desire for hope in these times of climate change and social unrest? Let's move through this together.
How do we move through change — in our environment, our communities, and ourselves? 🌊
Join interdisciplinary artist and choreographer Victoria Bradford Styrbicki for a free movement workshop exploring our relationships to water, community, and change.
Through simple movement exercises, flag-based signaling, and creative improvisation, participants will explore the idea that water holds memory — of storms, pollution, healing, migration, and care — and consider the stories our own bodies carry.
