A little update from us! ❤️ Sorry it’s been a minute since I’ve posted!

After very careful review and consideration, we did not select a family this quarter.

We are, however, in the works of some exciting events coming up over the next couple of months, so make sure you save the dates!

🍂 September 26: We’ll be in charge of selling food at Highland Elementary School for the Stillman Valley Fall Fest Car Show!

🎃 October 29: Halloween Trivia at Wayside is back for the 2nd year, but this time we’re adding in a professional to help make the night even more fun!

We know asking for help isn't easy. You may be thinking, "Someone else probably needs it more,"or "Mine isn’t that serious”.

Please don't make that decision for us.

If your family is facing a life-changing hardship, we want the opportunity to hear your story. Every nomination is reviewed with compassion and care, and we consider each family's unique circumstances.

Whether you've experienced a serious illness, a tragic loss, a devastating accident, the loss of your home, or another unexpected hardship, we encourage you to submit a nomination.

❤️ You may nominate yourself or a loved one (with their permission).

🔒 All nominations are kept private and reviewed confidentially by our committee. Only the selected family is shared publicly—and only with their approval.

📍 Applicants must live or work within the Meridian 223 District.

📧 Email your nomination to [email protected] with a description of your situation.

🗓 After nominations close on August 7, our committee will review each submission on August 11. Once a family has been selected, we will contact them directly before making any public announcement.

Nominations are open to residents and employees of the Meridian 223 District. Submissions may be made for yourself or on behalf of a loved one. If nominating another adult individual, we will need to speak directly with them to obtain authorization.

Our mission is to serve families in their darkest moments. We strive to be a beacon of light in the midst of heartbreak, offering support during life’s most difficult times.

Eligible circumstances include, but are not limited to:
• Major life-altering illness
• The loss of a loved one
• A catastrophic car accident
• A devastating disaster resulting in the loss of a home
