Thanks to our community for volunteering for our annual Food for Kidz event! With 259 volunteers we were able to pack 113,280 meals to be sent to Haiti and Honduras!

We’re still looking for volunteers and monetary donations for our upcoming Food For Kidz event on April 11! This is a great opportunity to make a real impact by helping pack meals for children and families in need around the world.

We are just three weeks away and need volunteers for our next FFK event. So far we have about 90 volunteers but in order for this event to be a success we need a total of 350-400 volunteers!

Would you give of your time to help package food for kids that would otherwise go hungry? This years food packing will go to Haiti & Honduras as well as some staying here in the US 🇺🇸🇭🇹🇭🇳

This months speaker for Kiwanis was Kristin who presented about the new food shelf in Stewartville: Open Hearts Food Shelf. In support we presented Kristin with check for $300 for the food shelf.

What a difference your organization has already made in our community—in the 80 vists made by those in need of food, 2400lbs of food was distributed! Open Hearts Food Shelf is partnered with Channel One and open to anyone combating food insecurity. Thank you for all you do and to all the volunteers!

What a great Santa Visit yesterday! Our Key Club, Builders Club, and National Junior Honor Society students were wonderful volunteers helping with crafts and games! Thanks you!
