With school almost out and warm weather here, more kids are outside playing, riding bikes, and walking with friends.
We’ve had reports of cars speeding through the neighborhood, which puts everyone at risk.

Please slow down and stay alert to help keep our neighborhood safe and welcoming for all.

Good afternoon!
I wanted to provide a brief update for the entire community as it pertains to the HOA seeking the assistance of a management company, and the community feedback we received.
First of all, thank you to all that came out and voiced your opinion. Despite the varying viewpoints, I believe it was productive. The community voiced the views, the HOA voiced theirs, as did the management company.
A number of community members expressed their willingness to step in and assist with the HOA. Given the interest shown, the HOA will be pausing any further action of employing a management company for the time being. We want to discuss the information from the meeting, and have further discussions with the community members that want to help.
Before any futher decisions are made regarding the use of a property management group, the community will be notifed, and engaged for their input.

Good afternoon everyone and Happy New Year! I hope 2025 has been good to you all thus far!

As you all may or may not be aware we are slated to get some snow starting this evening and throughout tomorrow. Forecasts are showing for our area to receive between 3-5” depending on how the storm moves.

With that in mind we ask that, if able, please move vehicles off the street and into driveways to allow for snow plows to move through the community easily. The HOA does allow temporary parking in your grass while during a snow emergency, which Stewartstown Borough has declared. I have not yet heard if Hopewell Township has done the same.

Please check on elderly or other neighbors that might have trouble during a snow storm. A reminder, as well, that within 24 hours after the storm has passed that sidewalks should be cleared and, if on your property, please clear around fire hydrants.

Please stay safe and enjoy the snow!

🎃 HALLOWEEN IS COMING...

Yes! It is that time of year again, Halloween is a little less than a week away! Bringing with it all of the spooky craziness that is Halloween in our community!

Below are the details for this year's Halloween event.

Date: 10/31/2024

Road closure time: 5-8pm

Food truck serving: 5-8pm (links/set up locations for each below)

Trick or Treat time: 6-8pm

Road Closure: East Scarborough Fare from Ballast Lane to Runningboard.

Access will be allowed for those that show that they live on E. Scarborough Fare.

Please remember that there will be A LOT of people out and about, so if driving please be careful, and if you are out walking, especially with your kids, keep an eye out for vehicles. Please be respectful of the community and the homeowners yards & such when walking around and disposing of trash.

Be sure to visit all those houses in the community outside the road close areas well, tons of candy to go around!

All registered voters in Hopewell Township, who have voted at the Hopewell Township Building shall now be required to vote as follows:

DISTRICT: Hopewell Township

FORMER VOTING LOCATION: Hopewell Township Building- 3336 Bridgeview Road Stewartstown, PA 17363

NEW VOTING LOCATION: Eureka Fire and Ambulance Company – 82 North Main Street Stewartstown, PA 17363

This change is effective immediately and is a PERMANENT change in the polling location for this District.

Just a reminder for those that want to participate either by having a yard sale, or want to do some shopping, tomorrow is yard sale day!

I am sure there will be plenty of yard sales in the neighborhood and all throughout Stewartstown!

Also, please be aware if you are driving around that there will be lots of extra people walking and slow driving around the area.

This message is for PISTON CT residents south of BALLAST LANE, & also for general awareness.

We are beginning another phase of stormwater repairs in the basin area next to the Fire pond. On FRIDAY AUGUST 30th, the contractor will be having a large excavator delivered. This delivery will be on a full size tractor trailer. The hope is to get the trailer as close to the fire dept access road on Piston as possible.

We are asking all residents who can, to please move their vehicles off the streets BEFORE 7am to make for smoother access. The hope is that the delivery will happen between 7am and 12pm.

If the trailer cannot be brought down Piston Ct, then the trailer will be parked on Ballast Lane, and the equipment will be driven down Piston for delivery. The excavator will be driven on mats so as not to tear up the road, but this will be a slow moving process.

If you can move your vehicles to assist we would really appreciate it. Also, if you know someone that this might effect who is not on TownSquare let them know.
