Grand Mere Neighbors

Grand Mere Neighbors on May 10, 1968, the Department of the Interior declared Grand Mere's 1,200 acres eligible for the status of a National Natural Landmark.

The 1,200 acres eligible for this honor contain three lakes, two bogs and the dune bridge. "Geologists and botanists have described Grand Mere as a unique natural wonder of the world. It holds myriads of animals and plant life." HP, 11/18/65

We are truly blessed to live surrounded by the beauty of Grand Mere. Each season offers a unique perspective and holds the promise of family fun, either on t

he beach, in the water, or sledding down the dunes on snow covered sand. Preserve it, protect it, and enjoy it!
