Hair loss is visible. What it can take from someone isn’t always.

For many women facing cancer, losing their hair can mean losing a piece of the person they recognize in the mirror — at a time when so much already feels beyond their control.

August is Hair Loss Awareness Month, and it’s a reminder of why EBeauty’s mission matters.

Over the past year, EBeauty has entered an exciting new chapter — growing our reach, welcoming new hospital partners, and expanding our ability to provide free wigs and appearance-support resources to people facing cancer across the country.

And now, we’re opening the doors to the space that will help make even more of that work possible.

Join us for the Open House and Ribbon Cutting of EBeauty’s new Community Center and warehouse!

Come tour our new facility, meet the staff and volunteers behind our mission, and see firsthand how your support helps us serve thousands of women each year.

We’ll have light bites and hors d’oeuvres, tours of the new space, a brief ribbon cutting ceremony, and plenty of opportunities to connect with our team, volunteers and community partners — and get a glimpse of what’s ahead for EBeauty.

Cancer affects women of every age, background and walk of life. And treatment-related hair loss can be part of many different cancer diagnoses — not only breast cancer.

In 2025, EBeauty provided support to women in all 50 states, across a wide range of ages, diagnoses and backgrounds.
And we believe every one of them deserves access to a wig without worrying about cost.

That’s why EBeauty provides wigs completely free of charge, helping remove one more barrier during an already difficult time.

Because confidence, dignity and support should never depend on where you live, what your diagnosis is or what you can afford.

Here are three ways EBeauty supports women experiencing hair loss from cancer treatment:

1. We provide free wigs. Women experiencing hair loss from cancer treatment can request a wig at no cost.
2. We give wigs a second life. New and gently loved wigs are donated, professionally cleaned and restored, then passed along to someone who needs one.
3. We bring support closer to patients. Through partnerships with hospitals and cancer centers across the country, we help make free wigs and compassionate support more accessible during treatment.

Through EBeauty's Request a Wig mail program, women anywhere in the United States can request a free wig online. Volunteers carefully review each request, matching wigs to photos, preferences, and individual needs before shipping directly to a recipient's home. Here is how we made a difference in 2025:
