The Heart of Wisconsin Pickleball Association would like to thank all of the competitors that came out to compete in the Summer Badger State Games with us this past weekend! We saw amazing competition and great sportsmanship all around. Even with the weather forcing us inside on Sunday it was a memorable event.

A special thanks goes out to all of our hard working volunteers who made the weekend run smoothly. Your hard work and love of the sport is helped make this memorable to everyone involved.

A note from the Village of Plover regarding parking at the pickleball courts this weekend.

Due to set up for Celebrate Plover the paved parking area between the Bandshell and the Pickleball Courts starting Thursday morning until sometime Sunday morning. All parking will be in the event parking areas south of the Pickleball courts in the field area. I do realize it is somewhat inconvenient, but we will have several items and deliveries in the area Thursday and will require the area to be free of cars so we can complete set up and deliveries. Also, the Pickleball court lights will be shutoff around 9pm Saturday night for the Fireworks.

70 in attendance! Members of HOWPA gathered to celebrate at the Sentry Pickleball Complex and Lake Pacawa Park. Sue Hintz shared her love with a song adapted from For Good which describes the love and friendships that we found along the game of pickleball!
