Born in 1776. Forever Revolutionary. 🇺🇲❤️🤍💙

As we celebrate Independence Day and the historic milestone of America's 250th anniversary, the members of the Stone Bridge Chapter, NSDAR proudly honor the courage, sacrifice, and vision of the Patriots who secured our nation's independence.

For 250 years, America's enduring spirit has been reflected in the strength, resilience, diversity, and unity of our nation. Their legacy lives on through our commitment to historic preservation, education, patriotism, and community service, inspiring future generations to cherish and preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.

Looking forward to a great program from one of our very own Stone Bridge Daughters! Make sure to RSVP as it is expected to be well attended.

Don't miss the program Revolutionary Stories: Female Patriots of Loudoun County with Sherryl Belinsky, State Chair, Virginia DAR Historic Preservation Committee.

During the American Revolution, over sixty women in Loudoun County supported the cause of the Revolutionary War. This support – known as “Patriotic Service” – was done in a variety of ways such as providing goods to the Continental Army and paying the 1783 Supply Tax. Sherryl Belinsky, State Chair, Virginia DAR Historic Preservation Committee, will discuss the stories of several women in Loudoun who had Patriotic Service during the tumultuous time of the Revolution.

Revolutionary Stories is open to the public, and presentations will be uploaded to our YouTube channel. The program series is made possible in part by a grant from Virginia Humanities.

Admission is free, RSVP is enoucarged at the link: https://loudounmuseum.networkforgood.com/events/97503-revolutionary-stories-female-patriots-of-loudoun-county

Do you have a family member or friend who is a woman veteran? She deserves to take her rightful place in history. Without her story, our nation’s history is incomplete. Register her service for free at womensmemorial.org.

As part of our Chapter Regent’s Project, we are working to identify military women who are not yet enrolled in the Military Women’s Memorial. Our goal is to encourage and assist eligible women veterans, as well as to help register deceased women veterans, to ensure their service is properly honored. If you would like more information or would like assistance with registration, please contact the Chapter Regent at [email protected].
