A very productive weekend for DeShong's Gift Back and Forrest's Gift Garden. Saturday, we added new dirt and compost to the gardens and Sunday we added a new waterline. Thanks goes to Paula Dinsmore and Michael Dinsmore, Laurie Morris, Charlie Frantz, Dawn Meyer Crowson, Paula Previti Snyder, Rob Marcondes and family and Bill Farrar. Ready for planting on May 14!

What have we done?

Sunday August 25th: Marleny and Karina cleared, prepared and planted collards and kale seeds at Galilee Gift Garden.

Monday August 26th: Donald Hunt picked greenbeans at Galilee

Tuesday August 27th: Teresa Pugh Mohr and Dawn Meyer Crowson at Forrest's Gift Garden

Wednesday August 28th: We delivered 500 assorted peppers, 30 squash and 25 lbs of greenbeans to Loudoun Relief.

Tuesday September 3rd: Teresa and Dawn picked 100 peppers at Forrest's Gift Garden for Centreville United Methodist Church.

Today September 4th: Judy Hoedt Smith worked on the tomatoe bed while Don pick greenbeans at Galilee Gift Garden.

Lots going on at the gardens since the last post.

Tuesday August 14th: Teresa Pugh Mohr, Dawn Meyer Crowson and granddaughter Audree weeded and picked greenbeans at Galilee Gift Garden.

Thursday 15th: Judy Hoedt Smith and Marcia Follin Stewart weeded peppers at Forrest's Gift Garden while Donald Hunt weeded at Galilee.

Wednesday 21st: Magdalena Anders, Judy Smith and Mauricio picked and bagged 88 bags of swiss chard.

Thursday 22nd: we gave Centreville United Methodist Church 88 bags of swiss chard, 30 squashes and 500 assorted peppers.
