Whether you've finished every page, are still working your way through the book, or simply enjoy thoughtful conversation and meeting new people, we'd love to have you join us.

🖤❤️💚 Juneteenth | June 19 🖤❤️💚

Today we celebrate Juneteenth, commemorating the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Texas learned they were free, more than TWO YEARS after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. Juneteenth is a time to honor freedom, resilience, and the continuing pursuit of equality. It also reminds us that progress is strongest when communities STAND TOGETHER and recognize the importance of justice and dignity for all.

As we also celebrate Pride Month, we recognize and honor the Black LGBTQIA+ individuals whose voices, advocacy, and leadership have helped shape movements for equality and inclusion.

Community support comes in many forms, and it's great to see attention being brought to mental health, LGBTQ+ voices, and organizations doing important work. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this foundation can have. 🌈

While some corporations are quietly backing away from LGBTQ+ initiatives, Ariana Grande just announced something moving in the opposite direction.

Through her Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, funding is being directed to organizations focused on protecting LGBTQ+ rights, expanding access to mental health care, supporting vulnerable communities, and responding to people in crisis.

The foundation’s grants include organizations like Trans Lifeline, Lambda Legal, the Transgender Law Center, SAGE USA, Glisten Rainbow Library, and several groups providing direct support to LGBTQ+ youth and families.

Whether you’re a fan of Ariana Grande or not, it’s worth recognizing when someone uses their platform and resources to support communities that are facing increasing political and social attacks.

In a moment when many organizations are pulling back, others are stepping up.

That’s worth paying attention to.

🏳️‍🌈 Pulse Remembrance Day | June 12

Today, June 12, we remember the 49 lives that were lost and so many others impacted by the tragedy at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando on June 12, 2016, including friends and family.

Pulse was so much more than a nightclub- It was a place of community, fun, celebration, and belonging. 10 years later, we are continuing to honor those we lost by supporting one another, standing strong together, and creating spaces where everyone can feel loved, safe, valued, and welcome.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Pride in the Park was such a beautiful, joyful event! 🌈✨

A huge thank you to the City of Sterling Heights for having us as a partner. We loved connecting with so many wonderful people and celebrating Pride together.
