What a weekend attending Young Farmer & Rancher Spring Conference at the Texas Farm Bureau Conference Center!! Members listen to speakers from business professionalism and environmental issues to agriculture innovation and media training.
Members also competed in the Collegiate Discussion Meet against collegiate members from Texas A&M University and West Texas A&M University. Tarleton member Riley Gonzales placed 4th overall and winning a cash award. In addition many of our members won door prizes at the conclusion of the conference.

On Saturday, Tarleton Collegiate Farm Bureau members toured Jay Clark’s ranch in Brownwood, Texas. We had a fantastic visit and learned about regenerative agriculture, learning/class opportunities to increase profitability in our ag operations, and some tips + tricks for cattle and sheep operations. The past couple weeks our members have been super busy. They were offered the opportunity to work the Texas Farm Bureau Doorways to Agriculture interactive trailers at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and Rodeo Austin.
Members were able to interact with the urban population educating them on cotton, angora goats, ag in the classroom programs, and much more pertaining to agriculture and Texas Farm Bureau. Thank you Texas Farm Bureau for this amazing opportunity.

Members along with other Tarleton College of Agriculture & Natural Resources student organizations line up and talked to student about what makes our organization special.
Also congratulations to member Riley Gonzales for winning the $50 gift card prize as a result of completing the agriculture trivia quiz with Texas Farm Bureau field representative.
