Carver-Stephens School Reunions The cover photo shows Old Carver High in its present day status as Stephens Elementary School. The Class of 1970 was the last class to graduate.

The Carver-Stephens School Reunions organization is a non-profit entity. Its sole purpose is to provide support for school reunions and charitable endeavors of the organization. Carver High School was built in 1951 and held its first graduation exercises in May 1952. Carver High students were transferred to Stephens High School and Carver became the city's new Stephens Elementary School. All forme

r Carver students, those in 11th through 1st grade, graduated from Stephens High School from 1971 through 1981, respectively. Carver's mascot was the King Cobra and the official school colors were black and gold. Carver-Stephens, spanning the years 1951 through 1981. At the end of the 2013-2014 school year, Stephens Elementary was closed forever.

Re: Obtaining possession of the Carver Public School Building

Mayor Harry Brown has proposed to the Stephens City Council the selling of Carver Public School by accepting bids. We, former students of the school, are interested in obtaining possession of Carver because it is a major part of our history. We are asking former students to reach out to Mayor Brown and the city council members to make it knowledgeable that the school is important to us. We need your support. Please respond ASAP!!!!!
