Recently, members of Altrusa Club of Statesboro were proud to provide lunch for the hardworking VFW volunteers serving at 7th Mile Farm!

These dedicated volunteers from VFW Post 10825 and the American Legion spent their Saturday preparing camps at the farm for foster children, and we were honored to support them with a well-deserved meal and a chance to relax during their busy day.

📸 The photos feature:
• Justin Williams preparing his lunch during a volunteer break
• A delicious lunch spread prepared for the volunteers
• Joseph Owens and his grandson Camde enjoying lunch together
• Loralei Cox and her father Keith Cox sharing a meal at the farm
• Members of VFW Post 10825 taking a break from their volunteer efforts

Thank you to these incredible men and women for their continued service to our community and to the children who will benefit from their work at 7th Mile Farm!

Congratulations to our Altrusans of the Year, Jill Nevil and Pam Lavender, for their outstanding leadership and dedication this year!

Their hard work in diversifying our club’s fundraising efforts has not only strengthened our impact but also helped ensure a more sustainable future for the causes we serve including our Ruth MacKinnon Literacy Program. Because of their vision and commitment, our club is growing, evolving, and reaching even more people in our community.

We are so grateful for all they’ve done—and proud to celebrate the difference they continue to make! 💙

The Altrusa Club of Statesboro had a wonderful time volunteering at the Bulloch County Schools Literacy Luau held last week at Paulson Stadium! ☀️📚

With lots of sunshine, smiling faces, and an incredible turnout, our members enjoyed spending evening celebrating reading with so many amazing kiddos and families. Events like this remind us how important it is to support literacy and encourage a lifelong love of books in our community.

Thank you to Bulloch County Schools Literacy Council for hosting such a fun and meaningful event—we loved being part of it! 🌺

This Valentine’s Day, the Altrusa Club of Statesboro chose to celebrate by sharing love in action. 💕 We prepared brunch and delivered it to our friends at The Open Hearts Mission, grateful for the opportunity to serve and connect.

A simple meal, shared with caring hearts, is one small way we can make a difference. Thankful for friendship, fellowship, and the joy of serving our community. 💗

🎲 What an incredible night! 🎉
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Altrusa Bunco Night Fundraiser on November 13th at the Pittman Park Fellowship Hall! We had an absolutely amazing turnout, tons of laughter, and a whole lot of friendly competition.

Your support helps us continue the important work of Bulloch County Altrusa’s Ruth McKinnon Literacy Project, and we couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️📚

This event was such a success that we’re already looking forward to hosting another Bunco Night this spring—and we hope to see even more of our community join in on the fun!
