Clean the Catch is about clearing up the Catch Basins of Staten Island, removing leaves and garbage so that the chances of severe flooding are decreased.

Our goal is to go along some neighborhood routes to clear catch basins across Staten Island and remove a lot of the surface garbage and leaves, along with other litter, to help our catch basins from clogging.

If you want to join us on this cleanup, we have plenty of dates and locations coming throughout the Fall. We will be providing all necessary supplies, including gloves, trash bags, and tools on-site. Just bring a good pair of shoes, some water, and a can-do attitude!
