This little girl is coming to us from yet another tragic beginning.

She was born into a commercial breeding facility by the Amish.

At 7 weeks old, she has been ripped away from her mother but only after watching each and every one of her littermates die slowly and painfully.

Mom’s milk had soured, and her brothers and sisters were vomiting after their feedings. No surprise that the farmer would not bottle feed and so they all payed dearly with their lives.

So once again, we are opening our doors to a little girl in need…

Please welcome Ember - the fire of life must have burned strong in this little one for her to survive.

Huge shout out to Lori A Koch Foote who drove from Wanta to Pennsylvania and back today to see if this little life plus TWO more! Not all heroes wear capes. And of course to Nadene DeStasio who the eternal voice for the voiceless between these souls and their demons.
