That’s a wrap on our 2025 Hospital Toy Drive! 🌻 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑷𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒆 🌻

Penelope is your average 5 yo girl - she loves Disney princesses, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and crafting with her art supplies. But in October of 2024, she received a bone marrow transplant for a blood disorder. While the transplant was successful, she suffered from acute Graft vs Host disease during her recovery. As a result, she sustained permanent visual impairment.

Penny is currently at home recovering and in good spirits. As her family navigates this unforeseen obstacle, they are learning the new ways in which she will require additional support, modified learning tools, and specialized private education.

When she’s not playing with her younger brother Zachary, Penny enjoys baking, listening to audio books, and snuggling with her stuffed animals. We wish Penny all the best and continue to pray for her progress in the difficult journey ahead.
