Unfortunately Odie is back with us after the other cat in the home didn’t take a liking to him. 😞

Odie needs a family!!!

His story:
Odin was a kitten part of a tnr project who had a severe eye infection that couldn’t be reversed leading us to having to remove the eye.

His Personality:
Odin is shy at first but when he warms up he has some personality. He loves to play and run around. He is great with other cats and loves to play with fellow felines.

Snap tested NEGATIVE for FeLV & FIV
Microchipped
Revolution applied to prevent Fleas & Ticks
Dewormed for parasites
(Revolution should be applied monthly & more Dewormers may be needed)

Odin is looking for an indoor-only home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life. If youre searching for a gentle companion and will give him a week to adjust to your home, he will be an amazing addition to your family.

Last week, we were contacted about this 10-month-old Poodle mix who was left at a firehouse because his owners no longer wanted him.

His hair was overgrown and matted, with p**p stuck to his paw pads. At just 10 months old, he deserved so much better.

People need to understand that bringing home a puppy is a serious commitment—much like caring for a newborn. They depend on you for everything. If you aren’t prepared for the time, patience, grooming, and care they need, please don’t get a puppy.

The last picture shows him after a much-needed bath and trim. Next stop: the clinic to get neutered!

And his story may have a beautiful ending—he just might find his forever home with one of the firefighters from the very firehouse where he was left.

Every animal born on the streets deserves more than a life of hunger, fear, and fighting to survive.

This is why TNR—Trap, Neuter, Return—is so important for community cats. Fixing these animals prevents new litters from being born into the same difficult conditions.

We rescue the animals we can, but we also have to prevent the suffering of generations yet to come. Every cat or dog fixed is a step toward that goal.

Yesterday, these two kittens were brought into the vet and we were given the news that they have ringworm.

For those of you who don’t know what ring worm is, Ringwormis a skin infection caused by a fungus. Even though it is called “ringworm,” there is no worm involved at all! Think of it like a tiny fungus that likes to live on your skin, hair, or nails. It can cause a round, red, itchy, or flaky spot that sometimes looks like a ring. Ringworm can spread pretty easily. You can get it by touching something that’s already contaminated.

We now are in need of donations to cover their vet bill along with their medication.

Felines spayed and neutered. 8 ferals and 2 friendly cats can no longer add to the cat population crisis.
