🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED 🚨
Another innocent cat has been found suffering with a serious injury and needs immediate veterinary care.

We won't lie, we're struggling financially right now. We still owe our veterinarian $1,000 from previous rescue cases, but turning our backs on this baby is simply not an option.
She deserves a chance to live a life free from pain, and we're determined to make that happen. However, we can't do it without your help.

Meet Opal — the jewel with feathers!

Opal is a Quaker Parrot who was found outside after either escaping from his/her original owners or being released into the wild.

After two weeks on hold waiting to see if any one was going to claim this blue brilliance but unfortunately no one has come to claim Opal.

What we know about Opal isn’t very much like s*x or age. But what we know is
-Opal is great and friendly towards females humans.
-Opal can be noisy.
-Opal loves to be out of the cage

Before applying to adopt Opal. Please do your research on Quaker parrots!

🦜 Known for their funny, playful personalities
🦜 Very social birds that bond closely with their people
🦜 Full of energy, curiosity, and affection

Introducing Levi 🐾

Levi is a handsome 2-year-old sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart.

Unfortunately, his good looks come with some painful medical issues. Levi has entropion (a condition where the eyelids turn inward), gingivitis, and a lesion that has been sent out for testing.

So far, Levi has had surgery to correct his entropion, and while under anesthesia, two of his teeth were removed. However, he still needs additional dental work, and his next surgery is scheduled for May 6th.
We cannot move forward with his next procedure until we raise enough funds to cover his initial vet bill.

CLEO (now named Darla) UPDATE!

Darla is officially a tripod. Her recovery has turned out better than we thought it was going to go. She is using the litter box with no issue and getting around her new home just fine! YES SHES BEEN ADOPTED BY ONE OF THE INCREDIBLE VET TECHS OVER AT MID ISLAND VET PRACTICE! She truly lucked out!
