May is Mental Health Awareness
Month💚

A reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health. Some days are heavier than others, and that's okay. You don't have to have it all figured out, and you definitely don't have to go through it alone.

Check in on your people. Check in on yourself. Rest when you need to. Speak kindly to your mind.

Healing isn't linear, progress isn't always visible, but every step forward-no matter how small, matters. ✨

Let's keep the conversation going, break the stigma, and make space for honesty, support and care.

Autism Acceptance Month may be coming to a close, but acceptance is not seasonal-it's a lifelong commitment. 💙

This month reminded us that awareness is only the beginning. True impact comes from acceptance, understanding, and creating spaces where individuals on the spectrum feel seen, valued, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

At the heart of our work is the belief that every individual deserves access, opportunity, and the freedom to thrive—without limitation or misunderstanding.

Let's continue to listen, learn, advocate, and show up-not just in April, but every single day.

Because acceptance isn't a moment... it's a movement.

Did you know this Black History Fact?

Althea Gibson (1927-2003) was a trailblazing American athlete and the first African American player to break the color barrier in international tennis and the first African American to win a Grand Slam title. She won 11 Grand Slam titles between 1956 and 1958, including Wimbledon and the U.S. Nationals.

She was born in South Carolina and raised in Harlem, NY, overcoming significant racial barriers to excel in a sport previously closed to her. She attended Florida A&M University (FAMU) on a full athletic scholarship and was a member of the Beta Alpha chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1971 as well as the International Women's Sports Hall of Fame in 1980.
