Good evening, everyone ... it's time once again to launch our annual 12 Days of Holiday Fire Safety! Each day now through Christmas we will provide a safety tips to help protect you and your family!

Day 1 - Keeping The Tree Safe. To keep your Christmas tree safe, water real trees daily, keep them three feet from heat sources, use UL-listed lights with no frayed cords, and turn all lights off when leaving or sleeping.

Electrical issues and dry trees cause most fires; so using fire-retardant artificial trees, and dispose of old trees promptly after the holidays is the best way to prevent fires.
