Confidence continues to increase in accumulating snow across much of the area this weekend. This will result in travel impacts across the area. The highest amounts are expected to be focused across southeast KS into southern MO, though there is still some remaining uncertainty on the exact amounts. Additionally, dangerous cold accompanies this system.

A quick line of gusty showers is expected to move through Sunday. The line will be along the I-49 corridor between 8-11 AM, then move through the Springfield Area sometime between 11 AM and 3 PM. It will then clear the area between 3-7 PM. Any rain is expected to last less than an hour.
