​The bread was delicious, the soups were fantastic, and the neighborhood really showed up!
Big thanks again to Flour Bird Bakery for providing delicious bread items.

WBCA Pickleball Update

As summer quickly approaches, so do our WBCA Pickleball activities! This is a wonderful time for neighbors to reconnect, stay active, and have fun together.

WBCA Pickleball activities are designed to promote neighborhood fellowship and community, support court maintenance through fundraising efforts, and, most importantly, enjoy time in the sun. Below is our current activity schedule.

A few reminders:

WBCA membership is required to play Pickleball at the WBCA courts.



Membership runs on a calendar-year basis and expires each December. If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2026, please do so here: WBCA Membership – Warm Beach Community Association
If you have family members or friends visiting this summer and would like them to join you on the courts, we ask that they become WBCA members as well. Their membership helps support the maintenance and upkeep of our courts.
We coordinate community play sessions through the Playtime Scheduler App. (playtimescheduler.com). This is the easiest way to find organized play times, join existing games, or create your own events and invite other players to participate.

Warm Beach Summer Events

(Membership required)



Friday Social Potluck and Play: 4:00 - 7:00pm (all skill levels are welcome)

Kick-Off: June 19th (all Play levels are welcome. For the “kick-off” we will supply the hotdogs and hamburgers. Please bring a small dish to share.
2x p/month: July 10th, July 24th, Aug 7th, Aug 22nd, Sept 4th, Sept 18th. Please bring a small dish to share.


Ladies’ night – monthly social and play, 4:00 - 6:00pm play then social

June 26th, July 31st, Aug 28, Sept TBD (9/11 or 9/18)
Play starts at 4pm, then we head to the host’s house for finger food and social.


Tournaments:

Week of 4th of July - 3 skill levels – we will send out details soon. We will also post the information at the courts.
Week of Summer Fest (Aug 3rd) - 3 skill levels


Professional clinics:

TBD (working to book Susan Bar, Aug 2nd, Doug for skills training, and possibly more)


Aug Summer Fest Silent Auction:

We need help getting some Pickleball auction donations or contributions to our PB basket to raise funds for maintenance.

Summer nights Play – Community play time has been reserved for you. Sign into the Playtime Scheduler App to see the daily posted play times for members. Sign-up for these games using the Playtime Scheduler app. It’s a great way for us to know who will be there. If these timeslots don’t work for you, you can create your own time slot, and others can sign-up to play with you.

PlayTime Scheduler is a free app that lets you easily arrange pickleball games with other local players.

🌶️ Chili Chowder Cook-Off Announcement! 🔥

Calling all local chefs and foodies! We’re looking for cooks to compete in our Chili Chowder Cook-Off on May 16th.

👩‍🍳 Free to enter!
🥣Suggested amount is one full 5-quart crockpot of your best chili or chowder to share.

Show off your skills, connect with the community, compete for best dish prize, and most importantly bragging rights!

Run/ Walk group has moved to Tuesdays at 5:45 at the park. All levels welcome. Every time you come you get entered into the monthly drawing! Congrats to Riley who won March's drawing! Hope to see you there.

Calling all Warm Beach neighbors! 🌿
​Our beautiful Warm Beach Community Park needs a little post-winter TLC to get ready for spring. We’re looking for volunteers to join us for a community clean-up day!
​When: Saturday, March 28th @ 10:00 a.m.
​Where: Warm Beach Community Park
​Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole morning, every bit of help makes a huge difference in keeping our local hangout looking its best. It’s a great chance to get some fresh air and catch up with neighbors!

Spring is coming and so are some fun community events! Please join us for our annual free Warm Beach Community egg hunt, Saturday April 4th at 11:00 am sharp! We will have yummy age appropriate treats, golden egg prizes for each age category and a special visit from the busy Easter bunny. Put it on your calendar, bring your camera and bring the kids!

Warm Beach Futbol Club (WBFC) coming soon! The WBCA will be starting a soccer league for 3 and 4 year olds. The league will consist of practices/games in July and August every Wednesday afternoon and Saturday mornings at the WBCA park. The focus will be on fun, developing motor skills, basic ball familiarity, and of course making friends! You must be a WBCA member to participate. Spots will be limited. Sign-ups will start in April. There will be an information booth at the WBCA Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th at 11:00. More information will be available come April. Contact Joel Hingston at 509 987 7717 for any questions.

Run/Walk Club! WBCA is starting the Run/Walk club back up. We will meet every Wednesday at 5:45 at the WBCA Park. All levels of running and walking are welcome. We have multiple different routes ranging from 1-3 miles. Come exercise and socialize! Additionally, we will have a monthly drawing on the last Wednesday of each month for a coffee gift card! Each time you come, the odds of winning increase (please note you need to be a WBCA member to be eligible to participate in the drawing)! Hope to see you there!
