This is a free, three-day public exhibition coming to the historic Emerson Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Stamford, CT, October 16–18, 2026. The show will feature 8–10 emerging artists from across the Greater Stamford area.

This open call is designed for artists who are just getting started — those with little to no prior exhibition experience are especially encouraged to apply.

-Open to artists 16+ living in the Greater Stamford Area (under-18 applicants may apply with parent/guardian permission)
-Painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, textiles, or jewelry

We are excited that the intersection of Bedford and Forest streets, the gateway to Emerson Hall, is now officially reopened after an extensive renovation! The intersection now offers improved safety and walkability, along with more green space, trees, and public seating areas.

Thank you to Mayor Caroline Simmons, the City’s Transportation Department, and Stamford Downtown for shepherding this project! The next time you’re downtown shopping or dining, we hope you’ll stop by to see our special space. 😊
