This open call is designed for artists who are just getting started — those with little to no prior exhibition experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Key things to know:
-Open to artists 16+ living in the Greater Stamford Area (under-18 applicants may apply with parent/guardian permission)
-Painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, textiles, or jewelry
-Applications reviewed by a volunteer Selection Committee

Art at Emerson Hall: An Emerging Artist Community Showcase is officially open for applications! This free, three-day exhibition will fill the historic Emerson Hall with the work of 8–10 local emerging artists on October 16, 17 & 18, 2026.

We're especially looking for artists with little to no prior exhibition experience. If you've never had a "real" show before, this is your moment.
