UPDATE: ALL 24 CLAIMED!

We have 24 pounds of raw, local honey available for pickup on Thursday!

While we did pull a few frames for our family and closest friends earlier this month, this is our first official harvest available through Two Honey’s Bee Co.

Every jar is unfiltered, full of flavor, and made by some very hardworking bees! This particular harvest has almost a fruity flavor to it!

$20 per pound with 15% of proceeds being donated to the Soul Food Backpack Program.

We do expect more honey in the future, but we’re currently waiting on more jars before we can bottle the next round so availability beyond these 24 pounds is still a little uncertain.

🧡📢 WE NEED YOUR HELP 📢🍐

As we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year, Soul Food Kentucky is facing a critical need for funding to continue feeding children in Johnson and Floyd Counties.

Last school year, because of the generosity of our community, we provided food assistance to more than 600 students every week. That translates to an incredible 86,400 meals delivered to children who may have otherwise gone hungry over weekends and school breaks.
For many of these students, the backpack they receive on Friday means they will have food to eat until they return to school on Monday.
The need has not gone away. In fact, it continues to grow.

Soul Food wants to say Thank You to the Paintsville Rotary Club for their generous donation tonight.
The Rotary had a Valentines Themed Night of Artistic Painting. Several people participated in an evening of drawing and painting and raised money for Soul Food Kentucky.
Their night of painting, is painting smiling faces on many children who now have food to eat on the weekends that would otherwise go without a meal.

We want to say Thankyou to Kevin and the team at Capital Tire in Hagerhill Ky for taking care of our van. We had some bad noises coming from the engine compartment that wasn't supposed to be there. They got it in and told us the alternator bearing and tensioner were the culprits.
They fixed the Ole Girl up and were backup and ready to deliver lunches to the kids in Johnson and Floyd County.
