We are so excited! Join Somers Voice and Umbiance Center for the Performing Arts as we perform for Arts Alive at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on September 12th. Somers Voice LLC Somersal Productions, Inc. Umbiance Dance

Performance: Join Somers Voice and Umbiance @ 11:30 a.m. promptly on the Gregory Family Theater stage as we take you on a 25-minute journey with a "A Gospel Celebration of Broadway and Film".

Workshop: Performance Sing-Along Workshop with Somers Voice. Join fellow singers for this fun workshop @ 1:15 p.m. Learn performance and vocal techniques as you Sing-Along with some wonderful tunes.

My name is Angela Somers, and I am honored to Produce and Direct this powerful production. From the same producers that brought you Sistas The Musical, RAISIN is a moving musical adaptation of Lorraine Hansberry’s groundbreaking story about the Younger family and their dreams for a better future.

Set on Chicago’s South Side in the 1950s, the story follows a Black family navigating financial hardship, identity, and hope after receiving a life-changing insurance check. Through inspiring music, heartfelt storytelling, and unforgettable characters, RAISIN celebrates resilience, family, and the pursuit of dreams.
