Ready to take leadership to the next level and meet 4-H'ers from across the country? Apply to attend a national 4-H leadership event!

Youth in grades 10-12 this fall are encouraged to apply to National 4-H Congress or Ignite by 4-H for:
- hands-on workshops
- networking with 4-H'ers from across the U.S.
- offsite educational experiences in Atlanta or D.C.
- public speaking, career readiness and presentation training

Whether you're into science, service, animals or sparking change, there's something for you. These experiences will help you grow as a leader, build lifelong connections, and discover what it means to be Beyond Ready.

One of several service projects in the Twin Cities metro during our state leadership conference, YELLO, last week!

With 12 major classes at YELLO this year, there were many great opportunities for diving deep and learning across the University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus and the Twin Cities.

Among the many classes, participants got to:
- Tour the Guthrie Theater to learn about how the theater arts can help find purpose
- Hike, canoe and learn about the history of Fort Snelling, exploring the confluence of the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers
- Plan a meal, shop at a grocery store with a set budget and cook using simple tools

As our YELLO participants travel home, we know they'll have so many stories to share!

Get ready to build, design, and dazzle at the 2026 Minnesota 4-H Engineering Design Challenge (EDC)! Youth in grades 3 and up will team up to create a Rube Goldberg™–style machine that wins a carnival game and puts on a show-stopping celebration of victory for the crowd.

Register for the Buds and Blooms 4-H Photo Challenge!

Minnesota 4-H photography is excited to offer a statewide photography challenge to youth in grades K+. Youth will select one photo and write a few brief sentences stating why it's special to them and email [email protected]. The deadline is 11:59 p.m. on June 8.
