Have you seen the new amenities in the Dutchtown Community Garden? ✨

The folks at Dutchtown Community Improvement District graciously sponsored the park benches and trash bins you see here. Our amazing Habitat Saint Louis construction team helped deliver the furniture after it was assembled by our lovely Habitat Saint Louis construction volunteers! Volunteers from Youth Works Chillicothe United Methodist working at the garden helped unload and get the furniture comfortably situated in the park. 🌳

Dutchtown Common, a pocket park on Virginia that is also home to the VAL Community Garden, is maintained by the neighborhood group Dutchtown Main Streets.

In all, this project involved collaboration between four community organizations, three local and one from Chillicothe, Ohio - a cross-community story sure to make your heart feel good! 💛

Maintaining a home takes work! 💪

Our friends at Manchester United Methodist Church and the MoHab Riders organized an assembly of tool kits for our homebuyers! The kits included items and tools for homeowners to use in their home improvement and DIY projects. 🛠️

We want to send a big thank you to ManchesterUMC and the Manchester MO-Hab Riders for their unwavering enthusiasm and support for our homebuyers. Your involvement is invaluable, and your work is so very appreciated. 🥰

Habitat Saint Louis has FOUR upcoming New Volunteer Orientation dates scheduled for this summer. ☀

There will be two sessions on Saturday, June 13, and two sessions on Saturday, July 18.

This orientation is for anyone interested in joining Habitat Saint Louis' volunteer efforts - on the work site, in the ReStores, etc. We'll be covering what Habitat Saint Louis does in the region, how we do it, and the opportunities available for you to contribute your skills toward increasing affordable housing in our community. ❤

St. Louis' Pope Leo Village project is underway! We are so lucky to have the support that we do. ❤️

Habitat Saint Louis' sponsor groups and construction crews have been working diligently on the eight homes that will make up St. Louis' very own Pope Leo Village, located off of Tucker Boulevard! 🌇

Habitat Saint Louis is excited you're along for the ride, and we can't wait to bring you more updates on this project. The six homes that will make up Pope Leo Village mark the second phase of development in the La Saison neighborhood. 🏘️

These homes are supported and inspired by a generous anonymous donor giving in honor of Pope Leo's vision and commitment to serve communities. We encourage everyone inspired and invigorated by Pope Leo's call to service, to reach out and get involved in your shared community.
