Join us for a morning of purpose! Volunteers will be out bright and early selling special edition newspapers to raise funds for at-risk children in our community. Every dollar goes toward essentials like food, clothing, shelter, and medical care.

🐎 Polo 101: What You Need to Know Before the Match!
New to polo? No worries — here’s a quick crash course so you can enjoy the action like a pro at the 7th Annual Old Newsboys Polo Match!

🏇 The Basics:
Polo is played with two teams of four players each
Players ride horses and use mallets to hit a ball down the field
The goal? Score by hitting the ball through the opposing team’s goalposts!

⏱️ Match Format:
The game is divided into periods called chukkers (6 total)
Each chukker lasts about 7 minutes
Players switch horses between chukkers to keep them fresh

👀 What to Watch For:
Fast-paced action and incredible horsemanship
Strategic passing and positioning
Field side traditions like the Champagne Divot Stomp at halftime!

🎩 Fun Fact:
Polo is one of the oldest team sports in the world — and one of the most stylish!
