A very special shout out to Bishop Michael Wilson, Pastor of the Full Life Apostolic Temple Family Church in St. Louis. Bishop Michael and some youngsters from the neighborhood helped us get our newest U.S. Blessing Box installed at the church yesterday. The church is located at 3458 Minnesota Ave. in St. Louis.

We put a bunch of donations in the box such as bottled water, canned goodies, paper goods, toiletries and other sundries. Bishop Michael and I wanted the box there because everyone needs a helping, loving hand sometimes.

I’m sending very special prayers of thanksgiving to Karen Mesler of Alleluia Baskets for bringing Bishop Michael and me together.

If you would like to donate to the box, please let us know and we’ll pick up your kind donation.

If you own property where we could set up a U.S. Blessing Box, please let us know. We’d love to talk with you!

Dwight

*ST. LOUIS 9/25/2020*

Hi Everyone, I am ecstatic to announce that we just added our most recent blessing box earlier this week! It is located at Full Life Apostolic Temple, which is a church located in St. Louis at 3458 Minnesota Ave. We thank God for Bishop Michael Wilson who is Pastor. Bishop requested the box after hearing about us from a friend.

Here is a quick picture of the sign in the front of the church. We’ll put up other pictures of the Church and of our box this weekend once we get all the signs on it and get it fully stocked.

Please let me know (Dwight Stagg, text- 314-496-7721) if you would like to donate anything and you can either drop it by my house in Peters, MO, or let me know and I’ll come pick it up.

We are always looking for canned and non-perishable food or condiments, soap, toothpaste, tooth brushes and other toiletries, diapers, hand sanitizer and hand wipes. All sizes of new socks for all ages and genders are always a big hit!

Thank you for spreading the word of U.S. Blessing Boxes, and have a great weekend! ❤️😊🙏

Thanks!
Dwight

Hi Everyone! HAPPY FRIDAY! I wanted to let you in on a nice little surprise.

As some of you know, my kids and I have two beehives in the backyard and earlier this month we harvested 103 lbs of lovely, St. Peters, MO honey. I have decided to sell the honey in glass jars that contain 1 lb. of honey for $16 per jar and donate all of the money. I'm going to donate 1/3 of the money to Lisa Anne of Frenchtown Blessing Boxes so she can put it towards the items that she buys to put in her box. The other 2/3 will go toward the items that I put in the two U.S. Blessing Boxes.

If we sell all of the honey it will raise $1,648! I'm waiting on the custom printed labels for the jars and then I'll start advertising the honey more. Please hold your honey requests until you see me posting that it is ready for sale. All of the honey is double filtered, no comb honey this year.

Thanks again for your support and please remember that we are looking for three new locations for our boxes. Please contact us if you know of some.

Just a friendly reminder folks, we are looking for a place to put our blessing boxes. We would like to set one up in St. Peters and another in St. Charles. We also have a potential need for another in the Frenchtown neighborhood of St. Charles. These blessing boxes (actually top sections of hutches) are furnished to the location and we maintain them and we make sure the area around them is kept clean too. Then, folks who are moved to donate some food, or drinks and toiletry items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc., can stop by and put them in the box.

Then, folks who are in need for some of those items can stop by and help themselves to them. Over the last three months we have found that there are many people who enjoy and do donate to the boxes and there are others who need and come get the items that they find in the boxes.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration!

Oh darn, I went to both U.S. Blessing Box locations this morning to put in some donated goodies and both have been removed completely. 😞 Not a trace of either. I'm not sure, but since these were located in state of MO commuter parking lots, I suspect state workers were directed to pitch them. Just a guess. So now, like Lisa Anne of Frechtown Blessing Boxes, I'm looking for locations to put these boxes to help folks who need it, and to provide an additional way for those who want to help. Please prayerfully keep us in mind.

Due to the response to our home pick up offer, we are going to expand it to Friday as well. That means if you text us at 314-496-7721 on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday that you have a plastic bag of goodies on your porch, and you are located in the St. Charles, St. Peters and O’Fallon area, we guarantee that we will pick it up within 24 hours. If no bag is there there is no hassle, our volunteers just move on. Thanks for the unexpected responses!

HAPPY SUNDAY!

Three quick points:

1) Send us a text today for porch pickup in the general St. Charles/St. Peters, MO area of your goodies and we'll be there within 24 hours. And this ain't the cable guy talking, we'll show up on time! Text to 314-496-7721.

2) We are very close to getting Box #3 on the grid! We are actually finalizing getting ready to transport the box as we type this! Lisa Anne of St. Charles is going to take ownership of the box, and it's going to be in the Frenchtown neighborhood in St. Charles! It's actually going to be named "Frenchtown Blessing Box." Since Lisa Anne has been so willing and passionate about taking complete ownership of this box, we are going to label it with Lisa Anne's Frenchtown Blessing Box info and her own contact info and her own facebook and other pages. This will ensure that all goods and donations that are meant for her box will go to her box. I think moving forward this kind of self- management makes the most sense for additional boxes, since I can only handle so many of these boxes on my own. We provide the signage to the box owner free of charge and help them through the initial set up as they need. Best of all it's all FREE. We just want to help those who are in need, and we are doing that!

3) Thank you as always for your prayers, thoughts and support!
