🌞🐾 A Heat Advisory is in effect this week!

As the heat index and humidity climb, it's important to remember that our pets can quickly become overheated. Please take a moment to review these summer safety tips from the ASPCA to help keep your furry family members safe and comfortable.

A few reminders:
🐶 Walk dogs during the cooler morning or evening hours
💧 Always provide access to fresh water and shade
🚗 Never leave pets in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes
🔥 Be mindful of hot pavement, which can burn paw pads
😺 Watch for signs of heat stress, including excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse

If your pet appears overheated, move them to a cool area, offer water, and contact your veterinarian right away.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and help your pets beat the heat ❤️🐾
