Happy Freedom Day ❤️💚🖤

While we celebrate the day our Ancestors were informed of their freedom, we are reminded that our fight for liberation continues.

We live in a world not built with us in mind, and yet, we rise - through grief, injustice, and every storm life throws our way. Our joy, our creativity, our brilliance, our softness and strength - these are all acts of bravery.

At we believe in creating the light we were never given. We believe in rest as resistance, joy as power, and healing as our birthright.

Today, we celebrate the resilience of our community—the way we love, the way we shine, the way we survive and thrive despite it all. Black liberation is a daily choice to show up, speak up, and shine on.

May we continue to honor the struggle with pride, lead with love, and fight for a future where we are truly free.

🪄✨Love, Light & Magic✨🪄

What an unforgettable evening of fun and adventure we had at for Family Spirit Night‼️My family and I solved the “Case of the Missing Train,” unlocking clues and smiles along the way. 🚂

We really appreciated the free flowing concept, versus the more restricted feel of other escape rooms we’ve been to. It truly felt like we were plopped right into a storybook as we navigated our way through each themed room. 📖

Huge thank you to the friendly and enthusiastic staff! This was a perfect way for us to bond, work as a team, and create new memories. I can’t wait to tackle another adventure with my detective crew.🕵🏾‍♀️

People of African descent face challenges that no other groups face on a daily basis, yet we continue to show up and shine! 🌟

As an organization dedicated to healing and empowerment, our focus is (and will continue to be) on the health, safety, and overall wellbeing of Black individuals across the globe. 🌍

If you (and your friends) would like to do something meaningful this spring break, consider joining Black Girls Need Sun as we tackle environmental stewardship through the Walking Softer Education Program. 🌳

We will meet a total of 5 times at St. Louis Public Library to discuss the current challenges our planet is facing, and brainstorm a group project to make a difference in our community. 🫶🏾

All junior and senior participants are eligible to apply for a scholarship of up to $20,000 upon completion of the program! *Note: You must attend ALL sessions in order to qualify for the scholarship* 📜

Heart-to-Heart was a hit‼️

There was nothing but openness, joy, and creativity in the air, and we loved every moment of it.💗

While 76% of participants said they’d never been to an event of it’s kind, 94% found the Heart-to-Heart event to be extremely fulfilling and would like to see/attend more like this in the future.

100% said they would recommend the Heart-to-Heart event to a friend 💁🏾‍♀️
