Volunteer Appreciation 2026, Tuesday, May 19, was one lovely evening! Thank you to all our volunteers who make such a difference through each and every gift of service you share with our families.
“Bloom Where You Are Planted” was our theme for the evening. Over the last year and a half, our shelter relocated for one year while our Bridgeton site underwent renovations. Volunteers helped store items in pods in our Bridgeton parking lot, uproot our shelter to Marygrove, plant us there for a year, and then uproot us once again to return home to Bridgeton. Through every transition, our volunteers helped us continue to bloom where we were planted.
We are grateful and thankful that this season of transition and renovation is complete. Already, we are seeing new growth as we settle back into our Bridgeton home.
Special thanks to St. Joseph Catholic Church for allowing us to host our event in their beautiful building.
