The Youth Leadership Development program offered by CWAH provides teenagers with a dynamic platform to refine their leadership skills and make meaningful contributions to their community. Through engaging in practical activities, participants will cultivate strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership abilities.
The program fosters a supportive environment where teenagers can build confidence, connect with peers who share similar interests, and acquire strategies to drive positive change.
Meetings take place every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Community Women Against Hardship Center, located at 3963 West Belle Place, St. Louis, MO 63108.
Key features of the workshop include interactive sessions on decision-making, discussions on community issues, team-building activities, peer networking opportunities, and access to resources for developing effective communication and assertiveness.
