We’ve made it to our fourth and final play bar announcement, and we’re wrapping things up with Gray Fox Pub! 🦊

Gray Fox has been part of St. Louis’ LGBTQ+ nightlife for decades and has earned its place as one of the city’s longtime neighborhood gay bars. It’s the kind of place where you can pull up a stool, grab a drink, catch up with friends, and probably end up staying a little longer than you planned.

Over the years, Gray Fox has also built a long connection with St. Louis drag, hosting generations of local performers and giving the community a place to gather, celebrate, and occasionally get a little rowdy. It’s got history, character, and the kind of neighborhood-bar atmosphere that feels perfect for DOA.

This year, Gray Fox Pub is one of our official DOA play bars! 🎯 Teams will be making their way here throughout the tournament, so if Gray Fox shows up on your schedule, grab a drink, throw some darts, tip your bartender, and show some love to one of St. Louis’ longtime LGBTQ+ establishments.

🎯🌈 MEET THE BARS OF DARTS OVER THE ARCH: JUST JOHN!

We’re continuing our introductions to the bars where you’ll be playing during Darts Over the Arch, and our third play bar is Just John!

Located in the heart of The Grove, Just John has been part of St. Louis’ LGBTQ+ nightlife since 2009. Over the years, it’s become one of those places that feels like a fixture of the neighborhood. Whether you’re stopping in for a drink, hanging out on the patio, catching some drag, dancing to a DJ, or staying out way later than you originally planned, Just John has probably got you covered.

And when we say later, we mean it. They’re open until 3AM Tuesday through Saturday. So if your DOA weekend somehow turns into a “well, I guess we’re still going” kind of night, you know where to go. 😂

Just John is also known for its packed calendar of entertainment, including drag, DJs, karaoke, Show Tunes, bingo, themed nights, and plenty more. Add in the big patio, strong drinks, and a space that has welcomed St. Louis’ LGBTQ+ community for more than 15 years, and there’s a reason Just John has stuck around.

🎯🌈 MEET THE BARS OF DARTS OVER THE ARCH: PRISM!

We’re continuing our introductions to the bars where you’ll be playing during Darts Over the Arch, and our second play bar is Prism!

Located right at the beginning of The Grove, Prism has become a major part of St. Louis’ LGBTQ+ nightlife and community. Whether you’re there to catch a show, meet up with friends, grab a drink, or hang out on the patio, there’s usually something going on.

And of course, drag is a big part of the Prism experience! 👑 Their stage stays busy throughout the week with some of St. Louis’ favorite entertainers, newer performers, themed shows, and more. But there’s plenty happening beyond the stage too, making Prism a place where different parts of our community come together for events, fundraisers, drinks, and a good night out.

We’re excited to start introducing the bars where you’ll be playing during Darts Over the Arch, and first up is Bar:PM!

Bar:PM has long been a gathering place for different parts of St. Louis’ LGBTQ+ community. They’re the proud home bar of Rudis Leather Society and Show-Me Bears, and they also host the St. Louis GateKeepers Roller Derby.

And there’s always something happening at Bar:PM. From their weekend go-go boys 🔥 to Sunday Fundays ☀️, they know how to keep the party going.

🖤 THE DARKNESS IS COMING. 🖤

On Saturday, September 19, something sinister takes over Prism.

The lights will dim.
The music will swell.
Four figures will emerge from the shadows.

Unfortunately, it’s Kimmie Samore, Jara Dix, Anita Holetolick, and Rhoda Rooter.

So really, the darkness has bigger problems.

Drag Dart Night returns with an evening of questionable decisions, unnecessary drama, and several people making choices in front of an audience that probably should’ve stayed private.

And because someone decided this show needed a little professional supervision, Gloria Hole and Jackie Morgan are joining us for special performances.

🍸 The drinks will be strong.
💃 The drag will be… present.
💵 All tips benefit Darts Over the Arch.

Meet Josh & Atlas, your shot sellers for Drag for Darts!

They’ll be wandering around Prism throughout the show selling shots, collecting tips, and generally encouraging the kind of decision-making we fully support at a drag show.

And there’s actually a good reason to say yes when they come around: all of their tips benefit Darts Over the Arch. 🎯❤️
