Those seeking to spread fear of unusual and unprecedented modern warming often use a reconstruction from Kaufman that has been thoroughly debunked and exposed as containing numerous gross errors including one set of data turned upside down. His arctic data was the worst. Here we show another reconstruction by Hanhijarvi using the same methodology without the contaminated data.
The corrected Arctic reconstruction is in red and reveals that the Medieval Warm Period was warmer than modern temperatures.
Not unprecedented. Not unusual.
