Starting the new year with lots of cold outshooting de. Feel like I am grounded! But I am taking the opportunity to do more reading. Just read Before the King by Heather Kaufman. It is a beautiful Biblical fiction story about Joanna, who was healed by Jesus and supported his ministry. I highly recommend it.

I love gathering with friends over a table of food. It can be anything from hot dogs to steak--doesn't really matter what the food is. I just enjoy the time spent together.

Jesus used meals as an opportunity to teach, to show compassion, and to fellowship with others.

It is national Volunteer Month. There are so many benefits to doing good works and helping others! When thinking about doing good for others I sometimes think of Dorcas in the Bible. She sets a great example.

If you have not read "Find Your People" by Jennie Allen, I would highly recommend pulling up a chair and reading i--Even highlighting in the book and making notes! This books addresses something that is almost in epidemic proportions in America, and that is loneliness. So many women deal with it on a routine basis. This book is not easy and asks some hard questions, but I guarantee if you put some of her suggestions into practice you will be glad you did! https://www.amazon.com/Find-Your-People-Building-Community
