Got plans for Sunday afternoon? Celebrate National Coming out day with us at the Ferguson Pride Drag show fundraiser. You may see a Sister perform, grab the mic, or just be floating around in the crowd.

October 11, 2026 from 12:30pm-3:00pm. The second floor of in Ferguson: 418 S Florissant Rd. Ferguson, MO 63135.

FREE family-friendly event. All ages welcome!

Bring your dollar bills and donations for the Ferguson Warming Center -new socks & underwear, paper plates, disposable cups, eating utensils & toiletries for their collection.

The Fourth City SIsters had a wonderful time at MEPSI Pride! From the blessing on the main stage to helping tip kitten the Kings of Main drag show, nd then spreading joy through the crowd and in the booth!

We have lots more opportunities to spread glitter & JOY. We may not make every event, but as volunteers we do try!

October 4-10 is Banned Book Week. This year's theme: “Let Books Be. Protect the Freedom to Read.”

The American Library Association started the list in 1982 to highlight challenged books and the list grows each year. Right now, LBGTQ+ books are being banned more often than most other book categories. Some people say that the books are technically not banned as they are still available, but the "bans" make it harder for people to get copies of what they want to read which in itself is a ban.

How many banned books have you read? Do you see a banned book list as books to read or books to stay away from? Is banning books helpful?

In case you don't know we have some amazing independent bookstores in STL and the surrounding area. So support one of these shops and buy a book.

The Sisters are finally starting to recover from the wonderful weekend at Tower Grove Pride. We met so many people, heard their stories and made new connections. It is always great giving blessings, catching up with people, dancing, blowing bubbles and even marching in the parade.

Did we mention the clothes? We didn't weigh or even count the bags and bags and bags of clothing that we put out on tables and racks that went into the arms of community members. We only had a few items left which was the goal so thank you to everyone who contributed to gifting clothes, and especially those that took items away!

Until the next Pride- oh wait that's this Saturday at MEPSI (Belleville, IL)

Fourth City Sisters and are collecting your gently used reusable water bottles, clothing, seasonal items, shelf stable foods, and hygiene products!!

Bring them to the Fourth City Fun Zone at the Son's of Rest Pavilion next to the Purple Community Stage! We will have a FREE STORE full of clothing and accessories ready for you to take home! Learn about our Sistory, be blessed by the Sisters, and galavant in the field with us!

We cannot wait to see everyone show UP and show OUT for each other this weekend at Tower Grove Pride!!!
