Join us in congratulating our Huskies long-distance runners! Our Ritenour High School Track Team’s distance running squad, along with our Cross Country team, made history as the first-ever winners of the Ritenour Pride & Promise Foundation’s Taste of Ritenour Grant.

Today, runners were surprised by foundation members and RHS administrators with the exciting announcement of a $3,600 grant that will fund Garmin running watches for our athletes. These watches will allow up to 30 Husky runners to track distance, pace, and heart rate during practices and meets, giving both athletes and coaches valuable information to improve training and boost race performance.

These dedicated student-athletes will also be giving back. Our Huskies will be helping at the district’s first Taste of Ritenour event on May 19 from 5 to 7 p.m., where local restaurants will serve menu items for the community.

Tickets go on sale April 1 for $15 each. Watch for details this Wednesday.

Our Foundation Board returned from summer break to begin planning for the 2024-2025 school year. After a successful golf tournament in June that raised more than $34,000 for Ritenour students and staff, our Board met on Sept. 9 to discuss plans for the upcoming school year and beyond. There are a lot of great things planned that will make a positive impact on our students and staff. We can't wait to tell you about them soon! Go Huskies!

Who We Are

The Ritenour Pride & Promise Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports education in the Ritenour School District. The organization was established to provide supplemental funding for programs to enhance the educational experience of the district.

In Jan. 2011, the Foundation was officially certified and granted inaugural incorporation status by the State of Missouri. The Foundation is not part of the Ritenour School District; however it collaborates with the district to provide exceptional opportunities for students and staff through grants and scholarships. Independent of the school district, the Ritenour Pride & Promise Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of alumni, friends of the district and school administrators. Board members volunteer their time and expertise in order to support the Foundation.
