ay, are extreme. Look at what Jesus says “So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth”. (Rev 3:16) Neither hot nor cold, is what many Christian men have become. In an effort to change the direction of Christian men, MAN UP! Gods Way is challenging the manhood of these men. MAN UP doesn’t believe that being a man means you can chew through steel or bend iron, but that being a man means we will be disciplined in our relationship with Christ, in our marriage, as a father, in our service at church, at work, in accountability to one another and in discipleship.

Sin is far more powerful than most people realize. It will convince you to do things you know are wrong. It will make you ignore your conscience, silence the warnings of the Holy Spirit, and believe the lie that “just this once” won’t matter.

I just read about a pastor who allegedly sexted a child. It is a heartbreaking reminder that no one is above the power of temptation when they stop guarding their heart.

Never forget this: texts last. Pictures last. Videos last. Digital choices often become permanent evidence of temporary sin.

But even before the consequences are public, sin is already destroying the soul. James 1:14-15 (LSB) says, “But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is fully matured, it brings forth death.”

Do not play with sin. Kill it before it kills your testimony, your marriage, your ministry, your family, and your future.

The answer is not to think you are stronger than temptation. The answer is to stay close to Christ, walk in the light, remain accountable, and flee from the things that feed your flesh.

Sin always promises freedom, but it always delivers slavery.

The wind will blow and the rain will descend, but only the man with deep roots remains. [Matthew 7:25] A life built upon the shifting sands of this world cannot endure the tempest. We must be men who are "rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith." [Colossians 2:7]

"Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip [drift away]" (Hebrews 2:1).
