Wow—what a week! 🔥

Amazing time reconnecting with everyone at HPBExpo, meeting new members, and getting to know so many of you even better. The energy and sense of community this year was truly something special.

And to top it all off, MWHPBA was named Affiliate of the Year—an incredible honor—and our very own John Forshaw was recognized as Emerging Leader of the Year. So well deserved and a true reflection of the passion and leadership in this group.

Gilbert Villegas and the Clean Energy Choice Coalition — of which MWHPBA is a proud member — will hold a press conference at Chicago City Hall ahead of the Committee on Environmental Protection and Energy meeting.

As energy demand rises and supply tightens, CECC is urging a balanced approach that protects affordability and preserves energy choice — not policies that eliminate natural gas in Chicago.
