💜 CONVICTION vs. CONDEMNATION — BE ENCOURAGED!
There is a difference between God correcting you and condemnation crushing you.
📖 John 16:8 reminds us that the Holy Spirit brings conviction. Conviction reveals what needs to change and calls us toward repentance, restoration, and a closer walk with God.
📖 2 Corinthians 7:10 teaches us that godly sorrow produces repentance. God doesn’t expose an area of our lives simply to embarrass us—He wants to transform us.
But condemnation sounds different.
Condemnation says: “You’ll never change. You’re too far gone. God doesn’t want you anymore.”
But the Word declares:
📖 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…” — Romans 8:1 (KJV)
Conviction says, “Come closer.”
Condemnation says, “Run away.”
Conviction addresses what you’ve done and points you toward change. Condemnation tries to convince you that what you’ve done is who you are.
Don’t confuse God’s correction as God’s rejection. 💜
God Loves You! He Knows ALL About you! Run to
him!
📖 “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” — James 4:8 (KJV)
Pray again.
Worship again.
Open your Bible again.
Repent where necessary.
Forgive yourself.
Get back in position.
God’s conviction isn’t designed to destroy you—it is an invitation to transformation.
Today I declare: I will receive God’s correction without living under condemnation. I am growing, I am changing, and I am drawing closer to God. My past will not imprison me, shame will not define me, and condemnation will not keep me from the presence of God.
💜 BE ENCOURAGED. DRAW NIGH TO GOD—HE WILL DRAW NIGH TO YOU!
