Tim Farmer’s Exhibition
“EXPLORING THE MICRO WORLD”

Capturing the background flowers was key to making these images work, a little portal to what lies beyond; something we all want to see that lies beyond our current view. I’m trying to escape through the smallest of cracks while not missing what is right in front of me.

Meet our Food & Beverage Director, Abbie Joyce! 👋

Abbie joined the Foundation in 2019 and has spent more than a decade in the hospitality and beverage industry with much of her career focused on beverage operations, events and arts venues. On top of curating specialized food and drink menus, she enjoys the rewards of putting in the work to make big changes for St. Louis for the better.

“There is so much art here and everyone is talented, yet it can still feel like a small-knit community. I think a lot of artists here take care of each other, and advocate for each other. I love the camaraderie,” said Abbie.

A HUM BENEATH THE SURFACE

Lillian Stephen was born and raised in St. Louis. After earning her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017, she returned to the region to launch her creative practice. Her studio, housed in a former delicatessen, has been transformed into a vibrant printmaking and design space.

She considers pattern making a kind of play, like building with blocks as a child, moving pieces around until they harmoniously align. Her intention is to
infuse the artwork with a sense of vibrant energy, eliciting a feeling of humming, dancing, and perpetual motion. The garments and objects she sews from her textiles, along with her newer prints on paper, become extensions of this creative process.

Opening Reception: August 14, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: The Kranzberg Gallery
