For over nine months, Mohammed Ibrahim, a 16-year-old American citizen from Florida, has been illegally imprisoned and tortured by Israel. Now, his trial has been postponed to December 15th, a deliberate delay that will force him to spend one day shy of ten months behind bars for an accusation of throwing stones, a charge he only "confessed" to after being beaten and extorted.

The recent comments by Alderwoman Sharon Tyus are deeply inappropriate and unbecoming of an elected official. Her unfounded claims linking the Palestinian community to local crime are not only factually incorrect but also reflect a harmful bias that undermines the principles of fair and responsible public service.

Elected leaders are expected to uphold integrity, truth, and accountability. We encourage all St. Louis residents to contact her office at 314-622-3287 and respectfully call for a formal response and retraction of these divisive remarks. Prejudice has no place in leadership or in our city.

📢🚨Since March 2nd, after entirely violating the ceasefire, the apartheid state of Israel has imposed a total blockade on the already besieged Gaza Strip, completely sealing it off from the outside world. No food. No fuel. No medical aid. No water. The flow of humanitarian assistance has been entirely strangled. Israel’s systematic obstruction of food, water, and medical supplies, alongside its continued targeting of hospitals, bakeries, and aid infrastructure, is a war crime.

By continuing to ship weapons, provide military aid, and shield Israel diplomatically, the U.S. government is directly enabling Israel’s extermination campaign. Our elected officials are directly responsible for enabling this ongoing genocide. We should flood their offices with calls, emails, and pressure until they can no longer look away.

Alarming reports have come out in the past few weeks revealing that the Biden administration is supporting a joint U.S.-Israeli plan to use private contractors, including CIA-trained operatives, to control aid distribution in Gaza. Instead of engaging private contractors in Gaza to round up Palestinians and undercut the UN, the U.S. should be facilitating unfettered humanitarian aid, working through established international agencies like UNRWA to spread aid. NOT privatized military contractors.

📢🚨A 30-Day grace period for war crimes is NOT enough and demands an urgency for action- MUST immediately implement an NOW. Humanitarian access is just one of many severe violations for which Israel is responsible.
