Spent yesterday at Holy Gate Church in Kakamega County. Three of us ministered the Word,5 people accepted the Lord and have begun a new life in Him!! We are so thankful to the Holy Spirit and His power!

This is our First Bible School at the border of Kakamega. There are 32 members and possibly more by the end of the week. The name of the school Rehoboth School of Ministry, and it is run by Pastor Godfrey Otieno

We have an other school that will start this week in Sirare. It will be run by Pastor Charles Wafula and right now he has 12 students with more promising to join. Such excitement being a part of this!

Friday we celebrated with our first Makinnon Road group, Zuia with our staff and Bishop Daniel. They usually meet outside under trees but Pastor Jacob of Makina Worship Centre was kind to offer the church for the party. What a great time with an awesome group!!

Last Saturday we had another health related outreach at Mtwapa Worship Centre for high blood pressure and diabetes testing. There were 4 qualified individuals from the local hospital administered the tests. In all there were 28 men & women from the immediate area receiving this important medical procedure. BCL was the sponsor of this event. Thank you Lord!!!

Yesterday’s feeding program for children had 43 and 9 mamas prayer, singing, dancing, food and fellowship. It had been raining but we were blessed with clear skies and warm temperatures. Thank you Lord for the provision to bless everyone (even our next door neighbors with leftover beans)

BCL sponsored a free blood pressure and diabetes testing at our offices on Saturday. We hired health professionals to administer the tests. There were 49 men & women tested and also BCL provided medications to those who were high, especially with blood pressure.

Last Friday our staff traveled to Makina and began the group training like in Mtwapa. There were 11 members starting the 8 bi-weekly sessions learning about their condition.
It’s quite a commitment for us but they’re part of the BCL family too. We are blessed to be part of their lives.
